Steve Buscemi – From “Gangster” to Fire-fighter

Hollywood actor Steve Buscemi was best known for his gangster roles and other weird characters until the fateful 9/11 attack. He joined other firefighters working a 12-hour shift for a couple of days trying to find survivors at the World Trade Center rubble. Because Buscemi was not there for publicity, there were only a few photos of the event and no interviews because he refused to give any. Steve, who worked as a furniture mover before joining the acting world, lost his wife of over 30 years in January 2019.
