Katharina Böhm is an Austrian actress. Böhm became known through the great success of the television series The Legacy of the Guldenburgs. Between 1999 and 2002 she played the role of Livia Burlando in the Italian television series Il commissario Montalbano. Despite her successes in the theater, her love for the camera remained and Böhm was seen more often on television again. Since 2012, Böhm has played the leading role of Vera Lanz in the ZDF crime series Die Bossin, a role that she herself describes as “bull’s eye”. Böhm is the longtime partner of assistant director Rick Ostermann, the couple lives with their son Samuel in Baldham near Munich.
