John Wayne – From A Regular Home To A $3.95-Million California Mansion
John Wayne entered the acting scene in the 1930s and managed to have a bankable career until the 1970s. Unfortunately, he passed away in 1979 due to stomach cancer. The True Grit star previously lived in a beautiful home in Newport Beach, California, which was definitely way better than the regular Glendale home he grew up in. The California home was sold to new owners, and they later had some serious home remodeling done. The pool was apparently replaced with a firepit and all the rooms became modernized. The new owners listed the place in 2013 for $3.95 million.
