Kirk Douglas – From A Basic House To A $3.5 Million Getaway
Actor Kirk Douglas rose to fame in Hollywood during the late 1940s, and all the acting jobs he booked earned him enough funds to invest in prime real estate over the years. Back in 1966, Douglas was able to buy a cool house in Palm Springs which came with a tennis court and swimming pool. Douglas eventually moved out of the place in 1999, and sources say he sold it for $1.3 million. In 2016, the house was passed on to new owners yet again, and they reportedly paid $3.5 million for it. Douglas is already retired these days, but he did appear in the 2018 Golden Globe Awards.
