Johnny Cash – From a House in Dyess to a $3.95-Million Mansion
Some of Johnny Cash’s success in country music was due to his humble roots – the Man in Black was born and raised in Arkansas, where he lived with his parents in a tiny house that was featured in his biopic I Walk The Line. After finding success on the road, Cash went on to buy a sprawling estate in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
The 5-acre property includes a 13,800-foot square foot house, a swimming pool, and a garden. These days, it is worth about $4 million. Johnny Cash was born in 1932 and he passed away in 2003. He is remembered for his many hit songs like I Walk the Line and Ring of Fire, but also for his covers of other artists.
