George Strait — From A Cattle Ranch To An $8.9-Million House
George Strait might now have a wealth of $326 million, but it wasn’t always like that for him. He actually grew up working in his family’s cattle ranch outside Big Wells. Just recently, however, he just re-listed on the market his custom-built property. He tried selling the house before with an asking price as high as $10 million. To be fair, the price is justified by the house’s 8,000-square-foot space, 14 hand-carved fireplaces, separate guesthouses, and the 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom main house. In 2019, on top of releasing his album Honky Tonk Time Machine, he also put his house up for sale asking for $8.9 million.
