Sue Nicholls – 78
Born Susan Frances Nicholls, the British actress is best known for her roles in the TV series The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, Rentaghost, Crossroads, and her long-time appearance in the soap Coronation Street. Sue’s first appearance on the latter was in back 1979 when she played a temporary role for six years before joining the cast permanently.
Nicholls has won several awards throughout her career, including a four-time British Soaps Award, of which one is an Outstanding Achievement Award. If Sue has done nothing, she evidently has inscribed her name in the sands of time.
