45 Famous Couples Who Have Proven The Existence Of True Love
AL ROKER & DEBORAH ROBERTS | MARRIED SINCE 1995
After an early marriage that ended in divorce, weatherman Al Roker married a second time in 1984, but that too would end in similar circumstances. However, NBC’s “Today” weather anchor got third time lucky when he met fellow journalist Deborah Roberts, who had just joined the network in 1990 as a general assignment reporter.
Although they didn’t start on a good footing, with Roker being “friend zoned” initially, things would change with his splendid gesture to take care of Roberts’ apartment when she was on duty at the Barcelona Olympics. They got married in September 1995, and nearly 30 years later they’re still going strong with three kids.
