The Pope doesn’t need a flashy ride. He normally gets chauffeur-driven around with bodyguards by his side. However, the current leader of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, has been known to do his own commuting around Vatican City in a Renault 4.
Plus, he didn’t even pay a cent for it because it was gifted to him by Italian priest Father Renzo Zocca. The Pope has made it his mission to cut costs in the Catholic Church and has set the example with this vehicle, which he says he used to drive in his native Argentina.
