Robert Redford has had one hell of a ride, and not just in terms of cars. He has won Oscars, starred in blockbusters, and started an independent film festival. He has also owned a racing level 1964 Porsche 904 GTS. Also known as the Carrera GTS, his one was one of only 106 made.
Porsche returned to sports car racing with this car, although it isn’t that powerful with just 180 horsepower. Still, it handles beautifully around corners. Before Redford bought this particular one, it was on the cover of Road and Track magazine. He didn’t own it for long, and it went up for auction in January 2019.
