Beauty, Brains, and Talent: How Paige Spiranac Became the Most Famous Golfer on the Internet

She Worked on herself

Spiranac put forth more effort than ever while persistently rejecting any invitations to compete. She improved her game, entirely reconstructed her swing, and later participated in the Cactus Tour. Soon after, she tied for 14th place in her first Cactus Tour event, earning a prize of just $100.

However, she finished in a tie for third place at her next competition, earning her a spot in the Scottish Open. Spiranac also won a round at the Orange Tree Country Club in Scottsdale. She competed against Hannah O’Sullivan, who was her biggest competition and, at the time, the best amateur player in the world.
