Marlon Brando – Tetiaroa, Amount Undisclosed
The late Marlon Brando was able to buy his own private island during the 1960s because he could afford to do due to the success of his career that started way back in the 1940s. The island was originally named the Tetiaroa island, but in 1973, its name was changed to the Marlon Brando island.
Pacific Beachcomber SC acquired the island after Brando’s death in 2004, and by 2014 they were able to put up a resort which they named The Brando Resort. Brando is still considered one of the best actors in history and is forever remembered by his roles in The Godfather trilogy, Last Tango in Paris, Apocalypse Now, and many others.
