Prior to experiencing a heart attack, Kevin Smith was comfortable taking a nonchalant approach to his eating habits. There was also a time he was escorted out of a place because he couldn’t fit in a seat. He was embarrassed and finally realized that his fatness wasn’t as invisible as he thought it was.

Smith started juicing and cutting back on sugar and sodas. He also started drinking more water and following a vegan meal plan, inspired by his daughter, an avid vegan herself. He went further by taking his dog for a walk, at least for one hour each day, to keep himself active.
