Celebrities Who Ruled ’80s Cinema
Cindy Morgan – Tron
Before she began acting, Cindy Morgan was a weather girl on the radio for several years. Today fans remember her for her iconic portrayal of Lacey Underall in her 1980 debut film “Caddyshack.” In 1982, she starred in the world’s first feature film with extensive use of CGI “Tron,” where she played Lora and Yori.
Her marvelous acting style was heavily influenced by Rodney Dangerfield, an American stand-up comedian who Morgan credits as her acting mentor. In 2011 she announced her book “From Catholic School to Caddyshack,” detailing her Hollywood debut experiences, but she hasn’t appeared in any films since the 2016 short ”Face of the Father.”
