CHILD STARS OF THE ’80S: WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
Emil Minty
Emil Minty rose to fame as a child star with no lines spoken while playing the feral kid in Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior. The Australian actor was just eight when he played alongside Mel Gibson. He since landed several movie roles in the ’80s, including Fluteman, The Winds of Jarrah, and Touch the Sun: Peter & Pompey.
Aside from a few small parts in the ’90s, including Danny Taylor in A Country Practice and Dodo in the short film Road to Alice, Minty’s career went quiet. He did, however, provide voice acting for the PlayStation 4 adventure sci-fi Wasteland 3 in 2020. Minty currently manages a jewelry store, according to Yahoo!
