The second oldest daughter on Little House on the Prairie found herself in a starring role that would set up a successful career. Melissa Gilbert featured in many movies as an adult while also providing voice acting for Batman: The Animated Series. Her last TV movie was Tenure in 2017, and she also produced the 2019 drama Guest Artist.
Today, Melissa and her husband, actor Timothy Busfield live happily in New York. According to USA Today, the acclaimed child star joined the Virtual Television Critics Association panel in 2020, discussing her life for the upcoming PBS biography Laura Ingalls Wilder.
