From Zendaya to Brigitte Bardot: Hollywood’s Golden Girls Who Have Forever Stolen Our Hearts
Erika Eleniak – Baywatch
Featured in the 2022 horror movie “Campfire,” the American actress Erika Eleniak first became famous for appearing in the early ’90s flicks “Under Siege” and “The Beverly Hillbillies.” Yet, most people will recognize her characteristic blonde hair and striking blue eyes from another hit production: the unforgettable TV series “Baywatch.”
“Baywatch” was a show about Los Angeles lifeguards that grabbed the hearts of many viewers not just because of the plot, but also because of the cast. It was a show filled with beautiful people wearing swimsuits, and Eleniak was surely one of the standouts.
Blake Lively – The Shallows
Whether you first met Blake Lively in the CW drama series “Gossip Girl” or the 2015 movie “The Age of Adaline,” you’d agree that she’s one of the most memorable actresses in Hollywood. And not many know that she’s been in the acting business since the late ’90s.
Lively got her first taste of the big screen in junior school when she was cast as ‘Bridget’ in “The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants.” And she’s sure come a long way since 2005. In fact, in 2021, she made her directorial debut with the music video of a Taylor Swift, “I Bet You Think About Me.”
Halle Berry – X-Men
Meet Halle Berry, the high-profile actress known for her roles in “Boomerang,” “The Flintstones,” and “Introducing Dorothy Dandridge.” But, of course, we can’t forget her ‘Storm’ character, who’s appeared in four installments of the X-Men film series.
Today, Berry is remembered as the first and only African-American woman to win the Academy Award for Best Actress. And that honor came in 2001 for her iconic performance in “Monster’s Ball.” Berry is as successful as they come, but she hasn’t lost her luster. You may have seen her in “Moonfall,” which was released in 2022.
