Actor James Doohan is best known for his role in the Star Trek film and TV series where he portrayed the Enterprise Engineer Montgomery “Scotty” Scott. Before becoming a revered entertainer, Doohan had served in the Canadian Army having enlisted in 1938, and he had graduated with an Air Observation Pilot Course.
