Taye Diggs gained phenomenal popularity in the late ’90s and early 2000s with roles in films like “How Stella Got Her Groove Back,” “The Best Man,” and “Brown Sugar.” He also gained popularity for his role in the medical drama and Grey’s Anatomy spinoff Private Practice, which ran from 2007 to 2013.
Despite his movie-star status he still loves to perform and stage. He’s had notable roles on productions like “Rent,” opposite his now ex-wife Idina Menzel, and “Hedwig and the Angry Inch,” which saw him make waves for performing in drag. He’s also starring in the sports drama “All American,” from 2018 to 2021.
