There are few names in American television bigger and more recognized than Barbara Walters. She is one of the most influential TV personalities in American history, having hosted shows like Today, ABC Evening News, 20/20, and The View in her 64-year career. To add to her achievements, she also continued to report for ABC long after retiring.
Besides having a successful film career, she has also authored several books, including a bestselling autobiography called Audition: A Memoir, and has gone into writing and publishing full-time since retiring.
