Hollywood Legends Who are Still Alive and Making Magic
Chris Evert Lloyd – 66 Years Old
Before Martina Navratilova, Steffi Graf, and Serena Williams became the faces of women’s tennis, Christine Marie Evert, AKA Chris Evert Lloyd, was the sport’s dominant figure. The proof of her dominance is in her stats and goes beyond her 18 singles Grand Slam titles.
She was the world No. 1 for five years running from 1974 to 1978, then again in 1980 and 1981. She never lost a third-round match, made it to the semi-finals in 52 out of 56 Grand Slams she played in and had a win percentage of 89.97%, a record for the Open Era. She currently owns the Evert Tennis Academy and is a publisher of Tennis magazine.
