Before lighting up screens on “Saturday Night Live” and “The Daily Show,” Rob Riggle was acing drills, not just punchlines, as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Right out of college in 1990, with a pilot’s license in hand, Rob aimed to soar as a naval aviator.
For over 20 years, he served with dedication, deploying to hotspots like Liberia, Kosovo, Albania, and Afghanistan. Rob displayed strong leadership in these challenging environments and maintained morale with his humor. Still holding his rank in the Marine Corps Reserve, Riggle juggles his commitment to both his country and comedy.
