Justine Bateman – Filmaker
Justine Bateman’s rise to stardom started in the ’80s when she appeared in the iconic TV show Family Ties, where she portrayed Mallory. She also starred on the sitcom Valerie which gained worldwide popularity back in the days. Younger audiences might also know Justine from Californication and Desperate Housewives, but she decided to transition beyond acting. She wrote, produced, and directed a film titled Five Minutes, which premiered in 2017, at the Toronto International Film Festival.
