By the time she was 14, Kristy McNichol was already famous throughout the States, as she played in the Family series. After the show finished, in 1980, Kristy made a switch to films, playing in movies like Little Darling and The Pirate Movie. Kristie’s now 58 years old and has stopped acting professionally since the late ‘90s. The last project she ever undertook was the Invasion America series in 1998. Ever since then, she’s been working as an acting teacher. Kristy has also publicly come out for being a lesbian, in hopes that her story would affect other people in similar situations.
