Barack and Michelle met at a Chicago law firm in 1989. On October 3, 1992, the couple married at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago and share two daughters, Sasha and Malia. On August 4, 2021, the former president celebrated his 60th birthday. The event was hosted in the Obamas’ $12 million Martha’s Vineyard mansion’s garden.
