It’s time to clear up another misconception; football isn’t the only sport closely associated with cheerleading. While it’s certainly the most popular, others like basketball, wrestling, and even ice hockey have been known to sponsor cheerleading squads. After all, every team and audience could do with good cheer.
This photo was clearly taken at a basketball game. And it’s hard to tell what came first. Did this girl mess up the routine because she was trying to brace against the oncoming basketball, or did she fall over even before the ball came her way? Too bad we’ll never know.
