Carly Patterson – Artistic Gymnastics
Carly Patterson is an Artistic Gymnast notable for being the Champion at the 2004 Olympics and was sixteen when she achieved the feat. Having experienced the euphoric moment, the young athlete soon began to experience back issues that later influenced her decision to quit competitive swimming altogether.
To her credit, Carly chose to redefine her career and proceeded to follow her other passion – singing. She took part in a singing reality competition on television named Celebrity Duets in 2006. Post the show, Patterson became a professional singer releasing singles Time to Wake Up, and Here I am, the latter featuring in ABC’s Make It or Break It.
