In yet another case of the media bestowing group names upon gymnasts, we have Kyla Ross, who formed part of the ensemble known as the Fierce Five, and her friend McKayla Maroney. This US team made some serious waves at the 2012 games and brought back a gold medal!
Kyla’s foray into her artful sport continued into her college years at UCLA, where she continued to rack up perfect scores on the mat as well as the rest of her life. Did you know she’s only the eleventh NCAA gymnast ever who achieved perfect marks in a formal setting? What a little firecracker!
