What These Famous Olympic Athletes Are Doing Now
Katie Ledecky – Swimming
Kathleen Genevieve Ledecky made her international debut at an early age of 15 years in the 2012 London Olympic Games and quite startlingly bagged the gold medal in women’s 800-meters-freestyle. Since then, the talented swimmer has broken 14 world records and won five Olympic gold medals, the most for any female to date.
It is not very usual among famous sports stars to continue college even after becoming a world champion. Ledecky stood out as an exception by recently completing her bachelor’s in psychology from Stanford University. No wonder the freestyler ranked third in Associated Press‘s Female Athlete of the Decade!
