Once or twice is probably acceptable, but more than that, it is like they’re not exactly taking things as serious as it should be. Time is one of the most important things for a lawyer because there will always be deadlines and schedules. So if he or she is usually late on your meetings, then you might need to talk to him or her about it, since it will definitely affect their professionalism.

Lawyers must always stay true to the law, and those who are willing to be dishonest for any reason, is just a truly bad lawyer. If they are willing to lie about a certain part of the case or on court while on oath, then you should really think twice.
